As a result of a decision taken by our Trustees and Board it is with great regret we have decided to suspend production and distribution of Hamilton Sound with effect from Friday 20 March 2020 until further notice.

We have made this decision, after careful consideration of the latest available advice from government and health experts, in order to minimise the risk of infection to our listeners, volunteers and their families.

Our last production and distribution will be on Thursday 19 March 2020 in which we shall advise our listeners of the position.

We will maintain a watching brief on the development of this crisis and will resume normal production as when the expert advice suggests it is safe to do so.

Keep safe and well,

Hamilton Sound

Help us spread the word please

Hamilton Sound Flyer PDFWe have great difficulty in spreading news of our service to possible new listeners.  As you may imagine, traditional methods such as leaflets and newspaper adverts are useless if someone's visual impairment prevents them from reading them and getting the message.

We find the most effective way is by word of mouth and personal recommendation by family and friends.  If you know of anyone who may benefit from our service please let them know about us and encourage them to get in touch.

This leaflet about our service and how to apply for it will help you.  Please click here to open a PDF document which you can print or save.

Alternatively why not assit your friend or family member to join up via this web site.  It only takes a moment to change someone's quality of life for the better.

Our service is free of all charges including postage and totally confidential.  We do not use listener's contact details for any other purpose nor do we share listener's information with anyone else.
